Hello,
I'm totally new to raising chickens at home!

One of my hobbies and talents is Pysanky or Ukrainian Easter egg decorating.

I teach classes and spend winter hours creating lovely eggs! Im hoping to have chickens that lay white or light pastel colored eggs, rather than brown. (Leghorn?)

I dog walk and pet sit (and farm sit! ). I've taken care of many chickens for clients. Some have large farms and others just a few in a tiny coop.

My plan is to build something like a 8x10, full height so that we can walk into coop, quaint looking chicken coop.
As an avid watcher of the HGTV show, Fixer Upper, I'm hoping to build something that looks like the one that Chip & Joanna built!

If anyone has ideas or plans actually for this coop I'd be so happy!

Thanks! I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from this forum.

That stove is at the NH farm museum! I was there teaching pysanky to people attending egg day at the museum!
Free ranging chicken (newly adopted due to being dumped at the farm) fell in love with us and wouldn't leave the kitchen! They would have sent her and her 3 other friends home with us if we had space ready for chickens!
