Hey ever'body,

Long time referencer, first time signer-upper, as I have been having the damndest medical issue with my turkeys, who were formerly cohabitating with my chickens. Here is a link to that forum, if anybody would like to lend a hand...https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/786022/transmittable-diseases

Anyhow, after caring for my roomates ~10 chickens last year I decided to keep it going when I moved and now have 24 layers (3 one yo / 21 hatched this spring) and 15 broilers (Naked Necks all the way!).

I look forward to meeting y'all on here and keeping up with, and sharing, info on the site.

Max

I think chickens can carry "black head" disease to turkeys, tho not affected by it themselves. People tend to use young chicks as turkey tutors to show them where water & food are.
