Hello everyone I’m new to this forum and fairly new to owning small flock of beautiful blue Jersey Giants. As I was researching how to tell the difference between the pullets and the roosters as they aged I came across y’all fine folk and hoped y’all can help me out though I’m fairly sure Penelope is not going to be a hen she’s definitely a rooster. I bought what I thought were 4 straight run pullets but like I said Penelope is starting to look quite a bit different than her sisters…Beautiful but different!! What do y’all think?

Hi, buying straight run gives you a good chance of getting males and you have one.

Yes, that’s a cockerel.
BTW, straight run means unsexed.
