If you run is predator proof he can stay out but you need to determine why he doesn't want to go in. Oftentimes the issue is lack of ventilation or space or insufficient light.
Thank you so much they have a light I bought a little push LED and my husband does plan to expand the coop he has a pretty big spot to him self I just got him last month from a friend so I'm not sure if he stayed in the coop or in the run.
