What a great site.
I've had chickens in the past and other feather friends. Such a relaxing hobby
a long with gardening.
So for now I plan on studying all that is on this site.

We travel full time in our 5th wheel wife won't let me have chickens now.. lol
But in a few more years we will stop so I can use every one's suggestions
and making great coops, runs and those neat automatic chicken feeders.
I like the different chickens that a lot here have.
My favorite are Dominiques because of there temperament. some I had would
jump on my knee. Of course there are more that I like.
I like dual chickens medium layers and some that like to nest. To raise some of my own.
Polish not so much I had to put my rooster I had in chicken dumplings (hope it is okay to say dumpling here LOL)
they where so aggressive toward my kids.

So many chicken selections, so little time.

Glad you could join the flock! Chickens sure a relaxing hobby, I love sitting out with mine to watch them go about their chicken business!! They sure can be quirky things. I'm sure you will find lots to study here on BYC, lots of great articles to have a read through and take in.
