I am new and introducing myself. I have been raising chickens for a few years now. I took to it like a duck to water. At first I utilized the shotgun approach until I found a breed I adore. I breed light sussex and americaunas.the light sussex are my passion. Breeding to get the most beautiful, best laying dual purpose birds I can. I free range them, my americaunas, ( which I raise just for enjoyment factor) like a bunch of little dinosaurs running around, and my peafowl.

Hi and welcome to BYC - great to have you join us! I hope that you will find a little time to share your knowledge and experience with other members, as well as maybe learn a the odd thing or two along the way. I wish that i could get "breeds" of chickens here in Kenya (we just have mutt or commercial birds on the whole) but my chicken maths is bad enough as it is, so maybe i should be thankful for small mercies!
