Hello everyone. I'm a 17 year boy in Kansas named Isaac. I'm completely new to the forums as well as chickens in general. I finished the coop last week and yesterday my mom (the whole chicken endeavor was her idea to begin with) brought home 16 baby chicks of several breeds. Since I know absolutely nothing about chickens I decided to join the forum and learn what I can from people with experience. I hope to learn as much as I can and raise my chicks right. Thanks!

Hi Isaac, nice to meet you. I like to recommend the "Raising backyard chicks," thread. You can also put your state in the search box and it will pop up. It's a great way to find out what is going on around you. You may even have some Bycers in your area.
