New here from Massachusetts, and new to chickens (kind of). Growing up my parents raised chickens, pigs, and lambs. So I always wanted to do the same. Now I'm married with my own family, we have one acre which isn't much but I figured it was time to get my feet wet a bit. Picked up 8 chicks this morning, pretty excited to begin this journey.

I got 2 blue andalusian, 2 welsummer, 2 cuckoo maran, and 2 sicilian buttercup chicks. Here's some pics from Friday, I am going to try and get pictures of each pair together tomorrow. Only took pics of one of each type.
