I am new to owning chickens. We bought a farm two months ago and 12 chickens came with it. My daughter instantly fell in love. Yesterday we got 18 one day old chicks. I have a few questions about my older chickens and my new chicks. I'm not sure what breed any of our chickens or chicks are (one of the new chicks is a Barred Plymouth Rock Rooster. We specifically ordered him)
Here are some pics of older chickens and my new chicks. [IMG]

Adorable chicks you have there! Enjoy them; they grow up FAST! [IMG] Chickens and children go together like peanut butter and jelly. I'm so glad you're daughter is enjoying them as much as she is. [IMG]

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.

Wow! Quite the assortment of breeds there. Not sure about that box of chicks, but a lot of your older birds appear to be Brown Leghorns.
