I just had an adorable discovery, I heard the male whirring more than usual and was puzzled, so I went to investigate and I found out why. He was whining as his main mate is nest-sitting too with her sister. XD Poor Rex has to sleep alone tonight it seems! And me and my dad were just talking about maybe getting another nest box for Speckles as Fluffy took it over, but it seems both went broody now and are sharing.

I am exited, as both Speckles and Fluffy are in the nest box. And double-brooding usually means eggs are about to hatch in most birds!

Kinda hard to see, but there are two quails in the box.
