Hello everyone!! I have recently just got back into chickens and I am raising seramas. This is my first time with them and it's going fairly well. I have 14 in my flock and I have recently just hatched out 19 little chicks and so far have only lost one!! I come to this site a lot looking for help and advice so I finally decided that I needed an account and to start helping others and continue getting the information that I need!

You did not include your location. If you are anywhere near me , then I would certainly be interested in a couple of hens only. I had some, buy no longer.

One got lost and one died to a respiratory issue a few years ago. My Avatar has one of them in it.
WISHING YOU BEST in your chicken adventures.

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Great hatch, I've heard Seramas aren't the easiest to incubate. My friend has 2 matronly seramas and they boss the dog around etc. Big chickens in a tiny package.

Seramas are such cute little birds...do you have a picture or two you could share?

It's nice to have you here!
