Hello!

[Dunkin Nuggets]

Hi everyone! After wanting chickens for a few years, I finally was able to and I couldn't be more excited! I bought a really nice coop from tractor supply and three buff orpingtons! They were a few weeks old when I got them in the beginning of march. They are now over double in size and are trusting me more and more every day!

I was hoping that someone could answer a question for me though...the last few days I have noticed a little dry blood on the top of their beaks where the comb starts...it doesn't seem to bother them at all. I started free ranging them over a week ago so I don't know what might be causing it? can anyone help me out???

Looks to me like they are poking those beaks thru a fence or wire?

That's what I was thinking too since it was on all of them...just want to make sure it wasn't anything bad!
