Hello from BC, Canada!

My name is Bailey and I don't currently have any chickens of my own. We just started the process of buying a home outside of city limits, so once that happens I plan on getting 10-12 laying hens.

I work as a meat inspector - primarily poultry. So basically I go to poultry processing plants (both large and small scale) and inspect the facility as well as the oversee the entire butchering process to determine if the product is safe for human consumption. I'm not an expert on diseases affecting poultry, but I can tell you if you meat is safe to eat!

I'm a huge dog snob and have 3 of my own - two pugs and an Australian cattle dog. I can probably answer any kind of question regarding dogs

That's me! Can't wait to get to know you all!

Dog snobs are welcome here on BYC and day of the week.
(I am one too) What an interesting job you have!
Welcome to BYC!

Loads and loads of dog folks here many professional trainers, handlers, breeders, search & rescue, etc. etc. I am a lifelong dog lover myself. Used to breed & show cockers. How are your pugs doing with a cattle dog.
