Hey, I am new to any type of farming but am wanting to move forward into it and someday make it my life. Me and my family have had six egg chickens for less than two years, 2 roosters and 4 hens. I wish I could say the breed, but all I know is they are Tractor Supply clearance chickens, as big as my pygmy goat, have a beautiful golden color, and are great at their job. I'm planning on getting Midget White Turkeys soon as well.

rjohns39, that is a very good idea. I'm planning on raising Beltsville's in the future, and I read over them briefly while looking for a type of meat poultry that suit my sitation. Honestly I had not considered that though, so I will be sure to read more about them!
