Personally, I have found the Topic of the Week articles a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.

No place better than the chicken information network . Learning before buying is a good move . I like to see the adult birds I'm getting chicks from if possible . Picking what breeds you want can be a real chore sometimes . I like those I got to have some . And then I like those too I really just got to have some . And then Oh man I just got to get some of those too And after you do that more than a few times you got chicks brooding in every room in the house and need a coop with several thousand square feet of chicken space in it . So after you smash the piggy bank dip into the 401K you got chickens . And then Oh Lord here we go again you didn't see them pretty blue ones on the first go round Have to tell you it's never ending story . Chose wisely little one . One can only eat sooooo many chickens in a lifetime
