Hi all!
I’m new to raising chickens. My family bought 2 dozen hatchery specials & 1 dozen buff orphingtons about a month ago. Our brooder is going well. The chickens are thriving. I wish I knew what breed a few were though, & I can’t wait until they start laying eggs!
I’m hoping this site will offer great advice & be super informative. Maybe I’ll even make a few friends!

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
