Good morning all. I currently have a small mixed flock (7) of very spoiled girls. This is my second flock, and thankfully for the most part all goes well. Came to the board a couple days ago seeking info. About a problem I think I have identified. One girl, of course my “favorite” started hiding, and acting weird (scared) then I noticed that one wing was “droopy” then it hit me that a day or two before I had heard a large ruckus and when I opened the curtains I saw what I thought was a large bird fly away. The girls were all hiding but all came out. So, I thought “maybe a hawk got her wing?” On inspection no blood nothing unusual... so I isolated her, gave her some sav a chick to keep her hydrated and some probiotics. After a day she was very unhappy to be isolated, but wing still drooping so didn’t want to put her back in in case she was sick, or might get picked on. I decided to go over her wing again... and wow!! No puncture wounds but her skin all over that wing is bright green. Thinking bruising? Anyways I’m keeping her apart until I determine that bruising is the issue and am sure she’s not vulnerable. Really enjoying reading through the forums and happy to have found site
