Hi... to introduce myself...

I’m in the south of England. I have 7 hens and a beautiful and friendly Roo. We have 17 chicks that hatched under 3 mummas (squished together into 2 nest boxes ).

I started looking after our school chickens at my house during the holidays (very well looked after, free-ranging around the school grounds and attached nature reserve-and often wandering into classrooms haha!) and then progressed to having my own because we all loved them so much. The school ones are now retired at my house too.

We are currently busy looking after the new chicks along with our two fat guinea pigs, 2 hamsters and corgi/JRT cross.

I work as a Teaching Assistant in a Year 5 class which I love, and I live on the grounds of a big agricultural college with my husband and two daughters.

I’m glad to be a part of this forum, it’s a lot of help!

Hello neighbour! I’m in Fareham. I’m guessing you might be at Sparsholt? Great to have you in the flock :D
