Hello! I am new to this community, but I've already found it to be super helpful! (I also got a bit ahead of myself and posted in a forum this afternoon before introducing myself. Oops!) I discovered BYC in looking for information and advice on our girls, their coop, and run.

My husband and I are novice chicken parents. We got our three chickens a few months back from a family-owned farm in Lompoc, California. We have a New Hampshire Red (Rosie), a Rhode Island Red (Pheonix), and a Black Barred Rocks (Pepper). The girls are now eight months old.

We live in a small beach town on the central coast of California, and are proud dog parents as well. We've got two pups: a twelve-year-old pit mix and a five-year-old Boston Terrier.
