I have 20 hens that are 22 weeks old, 13 Barred Rocks, 1 Rhodesian Red, Australian Orpington and 4 Golden Comet, I feed them with Purina Layena Oyster Strong and they are laying eggs 5 to 6 days a week, I am enjoying every minute with them, it is a stress relief to watch them.

I also find chickens really relaxing to watch. Most mornings i can be found in my favorite lawn chair enjoying my morning coffee taking it all in.

I love my time with my girls! When I am stressed or just need to get away from the day, I go out to the field and dig up worms for them. They get so excited and chatty. Crazy? Yes, but fun
