Hey Jerry!

Does your zero plan to become a larger number someday? Are you here to research and collect information? Of course, there's plenty of other awesome stuff around here too... contests, jokes, role plays and forums for other animals and hobbies.
Have fun exploring the site!

Hello! :welcome

I got my first chickens in 2009.
Right now I have 22 Black Australorps (20 hens and 2 roosters), 9 Muscovy ducks (3 drakes and 6 hens - 1 Chocolate Pied drake, 1 Chocolate drake, 1 Blue Fawn drake, 1 Chocolate Pied hen, 3 Lilac hens, and 2 Blue Fawn hens), 2 Pearl Guineas (a male and a female), and 2 Lavender Guineas (a male and a female).

My favorite reasons for raising poultry are for fun, for pets, for meat, and for eggs.

Some of my hobbies include: raising and watching poultry, cooking, baking, growing a garden, canning, collecting wild berries, storing up for winter, and making cheese.

I have a large family - my mom and dad and I and my 7 siblings - soon to be 8 (or more)!

I found BYC when I was looking up something about poultry and I recently decided to join it! I am very happy that I did!
