Hi. My name is Eve and I live in northern California. I have a fairly small flock. I've adopted a few from the Camp Fire evacuees and had a few already. Right now I have 10 under heat babies that were hatched in my daughter's classroom. I have 3 young frizzles and 10 older hens and 1 rooster. I just got 2 ducks to replace the one I had that passed away. Looking forward to seeing the posts and learning.

That's great you took in some chicken that were displaced by the Camp Fire. Do you know how many chickens were never claimed by their owners because they had no where to keep them?
