Hi and 
so glad you have joined us. Love your set up and how lovely,
you are also near the coast. Although we are now retired, we had our own farm, for
many years. There was also an x battery poultry place, about 5 miles, from where we lived. We had 26 acres, and loads of space. Although i bred our own diffrent breeds
of chickens, every year, i would take maybe 30/40 x battery without fail. You can
imagine the state of them. But once they found freedom and being free range, within
a few months, you would not believe they were the same birds. Their feathers grew
back, they just thrive. As many on here will agree. It is a brilliant thing, that you are waiting to give 4 x battery, a beautiful new home. You will not regret it. We never lost
any of them, and some of them, were worse than others. I always believed that once
they were outside, in their new home, they just knew, it was all good for them. And
they just got better and better. You will also have lovely eggs as well, once they settle.
You will not regret it, as many on here will agree. Well done you, also love your girls,
you already have, and your boy, is a stunner, handsome. lol
