1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
we have chickens since february for the first time
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
started with 6 hens, 1 rooster, now we have 4 hens, 1 roster, 7 chicks, and 5 waiting to hatch
(3) What breeds do you have?
not sure they have the small eggs, I thought they were Bantams, but not sure
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
the eggs, watching the children interact and the lessons they are learning, (the children, not the chickens :) )
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
home repairs, tinkering, home farming
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
5 kids, ages 12-2, 2 cats, and i think there is a gopher living under our deck.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
we are having hatching issues and stumbled across this forum
