1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We started with chickens a year ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have about 60.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have Cuckoo Marans, Easter Eggers, Brown Leghorn, Black Australorps, Black Langshan, Bluebells, Production Red, Lavender Orpington, mixed breeds with Black Copper Maran Rooster and some with White Crested Black Polish Rooster. We also have a dozen turkeys.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We love our chickens, from incubating to every other day, best entertainment. Our six kids love them too.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Quilting, crocheting, knitting, gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We're a Christian homeschooling family
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've googled a lot of questions and it usually brings me here.

Welcome to BYC! Do you have any pictures of your flock?

I don't have any of the whole flock, but of different ones. This is Barbara, the favorite of the kids. They're always fighting, wanting a Barbara egg for breakfast.
This is a picture of an Easter Egger/ White Crested Black Polish cross at three weeks. They're adorable.
