(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I just started raising chickens and ducks in May of this year. I’m a newbie
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
21 chickens and 3 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orphingtons, Rhode Island Reds and Ameraucanas
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their little personalities! My family really enjoys watching them in the afternoon. Eggs are a great perk too!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Farming
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
It is me, my boyfriend and his 10 year old son. We have a black lab English Setter names Ellie and a calico cat named Bug. Right now, I work in a local bakery while my s/o works as a vinyl wrap installer.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
