Hello!

Welcome, from Southeast Missouri! So nice that your husband is in this adventure with you. Some have to be dragged along kicking and screaming. but they, too, eventually come around, lol!
I was always joking with him. When he would go out he would say, I love you, be back in a bit...and I would reply, well dont come back without chickens or ducks.
This time he did, lol. Love that booger! Hes always one for a project or an adventure.

Adorable babies! :love And nice variety too :ya

It can be hard to identify chicks at this age because so many have similar down coloring and patterns. Their breeds will become more apparent as they get more adult plumage and develop their combs. But here are some guesses of the most popular:

1- Barred Plymouth Rock, but possibly Cuckoo Maran or Dominique
2- Sapphire Gem
3- Buff Orpington, maybe a Production breed like ISA Brown, Amberlink or Golden Comet
but if she's more true light yellow, then White Leghorn (just hope not a Cornish Cross)
4- Lots of chicks have chipmunk coloration! Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex, Welsummer. My local feed stores have EEs (sometimes mislabeled Ameraucana) almost every shipment, SS and Wellies are less common.
