Hi! :frow Welcome to BYC! Love the photo! I don't want to encourage chicken math...but, you're going to fall in love with chickens and need more than two. :love For one thing, having only two means if something happens to one you will have a lonely chicken on your hands. They are very social and thrive in a flock. So maybe not 50, but a couple more?:wee
 
I have to agree about chicken math... i started with 4 pullets last year. I am at the point in my poultry addiction that I admit that I might have a hoarding problem. Currently up to 7 ducks and 19 chickens. If I had space for more and if they were less noisy I would also add peafowl and geese. My addiction has lead to me and my hysband to set up a 15 year plan to buy a farm so we can get more animals, like pigs goats and a jersey cow. Also, be mindful that poultry are a gateway livestock lol!
