Hello

How many hens should I have to a rooster
The preferred ratio is 1 rooster to 8 to 10 hens. Too few hens and the girls will get over mated which can endanger their lives.

Thank you so much when we got our chickens we were told that half of them were hens but we actually have 8and 13 roosters but we're moving them into different housing tomorrow

Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy you've decided to join us :ya

Thank you very much I really do have so many questions, one thing I'm wanting to know is they eatcan corn everyday and their scratch do I need to give them any supplements so they get the vitamins they need
@TwoCrows gave you a good answer here. A balanced ration is key to good health. A good rule of thumb on roosters is 1:10, but it really depends on the flock dynamic and the head roo.
