I live in NW AR and have had Chickens for about 18 months. We started with four from a friend-1 Ameraucana, 2 Cuckoo Maran and 1 Laced Wing Wyandotte. In Dec we were given a second Lacy Winged Wyandotte from the same flock the others came from. They welcomed her like an old friend! We have had crazy weather-extreme highs and then low lows and they have gone through their winter molt so right now they’re giving us about 8-9 eggs a week. Ours free range during the day and good weather otherwise they are in an aprox. 25x25 pen. I wanted to join BYC because it’s been my go to place for when I have questions and thought it would be time to join in the conversation.
