So, I've been her a few weeks but realized I didnt say hello. Just jumped in
I'm new to chickens. Got 5 production blues and 2 EEs when they were just a few days old. They are now about 4 weeks and all growing and thriving. I'll admit I was terrified because I heard you will usually lose a few (which is why I got 7, was only planning on 4). Well, 4 weeks later and they are all still here. We've built the run and prepared the coop. The coop is an old playhouse I picked up for free. Added a door, floor, and some hardware cloth to the windows. Our run is a hoop run. 35' x 15'. Still tweaking it but so far this is where we are.
