So I just joined! I have some questions but will help you to on what I know. My grandparents had chickens my whole life till there chickens passed but I’m starting a flock myself. What breeds are the best roosters? Does anybody know anything on amberlink

There is no breed with the best roosters. They are all individuals and you can find "good" and "bad" roosters among all the breeds.
What are you looking for in a rooster?
Amberlinks were designed to be high production birds. These mixes generally have shorter lives than heritage breeds as they succumb to reproductive issues much earlier in life.

I have had a couple of amber links & they were excellent hybrid layers. Reasonably friendly too, Ginny below was fab!
