(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've been slowly nursing the idea of homesteading for a while now, and am finally getting towards a stage in life where I can maybe start doing some of the awesome projects you all have helped educate me on!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Zero
(3) What breeds do you have?
Looking forward to getting a couple Silkies to start with... theyre just so beautiful! The practical breeds can come later
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We shall see! I'm looking forward to socializing them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Also researching goats, solar panels and carpentry!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm also into exotic animals.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found ya'll quite a few years ago...I think through searching on duckduckgo.
