Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! After having chicken's for 7 year's, I am sure that you will be able to help us with other newbies that are just starting out that might need some advice. What breed or breed's do you have?

Currently, our hens are a Rhode island red cross, one roo is either a barred Plymouth rock or a dom. He just wandered onto our place and stayed. The other roo is a backyard mutt. lol

I just ordered a few mixed fancy from Meyers, so it'll be fun to see what they turn out to be!

Our ducks are Pekin only this far.

We've had lace wyandotte, Rhode island red, bantam silky crosses, americanas, and, of course, backyard mixes... can't think of any other specific breeds.

They're all fun. 😊
