Hello,
I am new to the group, not new to Chickens. We are currently raising 39 Chicks, and we have 6 laying Hens. We are building a new flock after relocating to Idaho from Paradise Ca where we lost our other ladies during the Camp Fire in 2018. I am excited for our new babies and just bought them a giant new barn coop so they will be happy and comfy with lots of room. We have 3 Bardrock Hens, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, a Copper Maran and a NHR laying hens. The babies are 10 Red SexLinks (the hatchery sent the wrong birds), 8 Columbian Wyandottes, 5 Welsummers, 6 Buff Orpingtons, 10 Gold Laced Wyandottes and we are expecting 10 Easter Eggers (the birds the hathery was supposed to send)
the end of the month. I'm the crazy Chicken lady...lol This is Esther, My new baby Columbian Wyandotte. She is already very comfortable just walking up into my hand at 1.5 weeks old. I spend a lot of time just hanging out with the babies.
