I’m new to this but have 4 week old baby chicks. I have Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, Asia Black, Australorp, and Sapphire Gem. I also ended up with one Cornish X that was mixed in. It’s about 3x as big as the others lol. I just moved them out of the brooder and into the chicken house (with heat lamp) and they love having so much room.
I’m curious about something if anyone has advice. Today I ordered 8 heritage breed barred rock chicks that are due to ship the first week of June. I’ll keep them in the brooder for first couple of weeks but will the older chicks and the new ones be okay together?

Welcome to BYC. I'd wait until the new chicks are at least a week old before trying to integrate, and then I would monitor closely. Have a plan 'B' in mind in case things do not work out.
Thanks for the advice. I plan on keeping them in garage in brooder for about first three weeks. The older chicks will be about 10 weeks by that time. I’ll probably put them in cage in chicken house for first few nights to get them used to idea of being together before they can be loose with the bigger chicks. I had two get trampled while in the brooder and that’s why I went ahead and moved them into chicken house so soon. I am worried that the bigger chicks would do that with small ones.
