Hello, my wife Mychelle and I are new backyard chicken farmers. While I had pet chickens as a kid, I was not involved in their care. This is all new to us. So far, every time I google questions about my chicks, I get my answers from this site. So, I decided to join. We live southeast Georgia in a subdivision. We have three chicks that we are raising as pets with eggs. We have one black something and two yellow/brown pullets. They are Poof, Blondie and Petunia. They are at that ugly duckling stage now. We look forward to finding out how to raise chickens. Jason
