Hi, just to introduce myself we have around 50 chickens at our allotment including USA silkies, European silkies, polish frizzles and welsummers.
Some have hatched under broody hens and some have hatched in the incubator.

Welcome to BYC Silkies for me are such a difficult breed to keep. I am constantly looking for them or trying to get them penned up at night or searching for the eggs, hidden nests and broodies as I free range them like they want. I'm sure I must be doing it all wrong. They just seem to get into all sorts of trouble as well.
