(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had chickens once before, 3 of them in AZ just roaming around my backyard in the city. My kids (6 & 8) are super exciting to have these amazing pets. My son calls himself the chicken whisperer.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5! 4 are 16 weeks, 1 is 8 weeks
(3) What breeds do you have?
1. welsummer
2. golden sex link
3. easter egger
4. easter egger
5. black ostralorp/americauna mix
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their funny personalities, our golden sex link is soooo friendly
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
water sports, parenting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a school bus driver (when school isn't cancelled). Single mom to 6 yr daughter and 8 yr boy. We love animals! The house we moved into came with a nice coop so we figured it was meant to be!

A little google search turned me on to this forum.
