I got my first chickens about this time last year. Just some TS chicks. I now have 25 chickens (and 8 eggs in the incubator). So in my first flock, I have 1 Self Blue OEGB Roo, 2 Barred Rock Cochins, 4 EE, 1 exhibition RIR, and a pair of Millie Fluer Cochin Bantams. In my second flock, I have 4 Golden Sexlinks, 2 Dark Brahmas, 1 Black Silkie Bantam (most likely a Cockerel), 3 SLW, another Golden Sexlink (3 weeks younger), 1 Cornish X (she is my pet, and won’t be eaten), 2 MF Cochin Bantam chicks and 8 eggs in the incubator. My favorite breed I have is my Cochin Bantams. I love just watching them all grow up with different personalities. I also like drawing, music, and other things, but it’s mainly chickens. I live in NW Florida (south Alabama basically) with 4 dogs, 2 cats, a brother and a sister, and my parents.
I’ve recently gotten really into Cochins and Cochin Bantams and finally decided I should join this community and ask for advice and all sorts of stuff. I do ask a lot of questions though, so bear with me.
