Ah, Christine, we may be sisters in a parallel universe. I cried over dead chicks, have a special burial place for chickens (separate from the ones for goats/sheep and a beloved cat), brood poultry in a "spare" bedroom/office and have five cats. I like think I'm artsy crafty, but mostly, I have all the materials but the only thing I painted yesterday was the sad-looking frame on the outside of my bay window.

I'm looking forward to hearing more from you and hope you enjoy BYC as much as I do. Oh, yeah, I'm in Iowa, too! So, stay safe in this ridiculous heat

Perhaps we are! Looks like you're on the exact opposite side of Iowa, I'm in south central (though I'm originally from Boone).
Honestly, I have a lot of art supplies and don't do as much as I would like either haha
Hope you're staying safe in the heat too, it's been ridiculous!
