Hi, I am new to barnyard. I have been raising chickens since I was a child. I recently got into ducks. I have 3 roosters, 4 hens, and 8 (5wk old) chicks. I am currently hatching ducks. I have buff Orpington, Easter egger, lavender Orpington, and speckled Sussex. I am hatching cuyuga, mallard, and kakhi Campbell ducks. I am married and a mother of 2 teenager (18 and 16 yrs old). I have been reading barnyard posts for awhile and finally decided to join.

Cool! I have a Speckled Sussex too! I've hatched out Cayugas before, but that was years ago. I only have six hens now, no ducks. I do like to study some Swedish hybrids that are wild on Moosehead Lake Maine, though.
