Hello from east Tennessee!
My husband and I are brand new to raising chickens so we will have much to learn. We are planning now. We also have a dog (cocker spaniel) who we are hoping won't give the chickens too much trouble.

Hi! I have a black Cocker Spaniel too. She doesn't pay any attention to my birds at all, and never has. All dogs have their own personalities though.

I have two smallish mixed breeds and they ignore the chickens. If they are free ranging, a rooster occasionally challenges the presence of the dogs. The dogs flee when that happens
