I've Owned chickens for a few years now, but when we moved to our new house we started getting more. We're currently rasing chickens, ducks, geese, and quail. Right now we have 8 chickens, 1 rooster, 2 quail, and 3 geese. The last duck died today 
We have 3 different breeds of chickens, Rhode-Island red, Americana, and the last one slips my mind. We mostly raise them for eggs and as pets. I even trained one of my chickens to jump on my arm and eat meal worms from my hand. The ducks weren't as friendly, but the new geese are great they follow me everywhere. They quail are friendly to but only sometimes.
I found BYC while trying to find out what killed my ducks, but I cant find anything similar.
