(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New to chickens. I have had them since Aug 23rd. I know absolutely nothing about their care. I had to rescue them from someone that was neglecting them.

(3) What breeds do you have? 1-Adult Silkie and 4- 10-11 week old frizzles. I do not know what kind.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Do not know yet
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Too many to mention. Most recent working with herbs for medicinal teas and tinctures
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married, Two kids, 5 grandchildren, 14 cats, Full time caregiver for MIL (lives with us)who suffers from advanced Alzheimer's.

We needed to get a run up really fast and when I googled DIY chicken coops, this was one of the sites to pop up. I joined to be able communicate if I have additional questions or concerns I cannot find answers for.
