Hello everybody!

I have actually had chickens in the past when living with an ex several years ago, but this time around with chickens feels different. I recently purchased 3 lavander orpington hens. I keep them in an eglu go and run, which is inside a 17x17 free range area that is closed in by 4' (or so) chicken fencing. So, far I really like this system and I am very happy with the eglu.

me too! I think it feels different this time because the chickens are entirely mine, to do what I want with. I am treating them more like pets than food this time around.
