I’m new here and love chickens, I’ve had chickens before couple of decades ago and hatched out 11 Wyandotte s in October. Again in November and another 18 fertile eggs in the incubator.
At this moment I have 4 roosters ready for the chop, 18x6 week old silver Wyandotte chicks and the 18 gold Wyandotte eggs in the incubator hatching in 14 days.
I’m hooked on their chicken antics and their different personalities Also I think it’s cool how a pet can give you eggs and more chickens
Along side chickens I also enjoy art n craft, gardening, cooking and fishing.
I live with my partner and his 91yo father and my 10 year old grandson is coming to live with me at the end of the year. I have a blue staffy she is my little mate(therapy dog), a magnificent green tree frog and Cardinia shrimp in a 4 foot aquarium
I don’t work anymore since becoming disabled but I have a degree in horticultural management.
I found this group referred to on fb groups I belong to and thought what a great way to talk to like minded people and increase my knowledge at the same time

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
