Hello All! New member here. I inherited three hens this fall at my new living situation. I have helped siblings to take care of their chickens in the past, so I'm not a complete newby, but I have never had my own to look after until now. All three hens are different types-- but I actually don't know what breeds they are! I love to see the girls sunbathe and just enjoy life generally. Reminds me to enjoy the here and now and helps me get out of my head. When not caring for chickens I enjoy playing trumpet and ukulele, singing, going for walks.

Congratulations on your flock of three! We always had chickens when I was growing up, and aside from knowing the smaller ones were Bantams (which we called "Banties"), I don't think we ever knew what their breeds were. They were just cool birds.
