First time raising chickens. Currently waiting on an order from My Chick Depot from Gladwin, Michigan... and literally ready to tell her to cancel and reorder somewhere else. I'm so anxious about it and the lack of communication is driving me batty at this point. If anyone can post their experience from this location, I'd appreciate it. I selected this hatchery because it came recommended from a chicken group on FB. This would be my 2nd round with chicks. First time using a hatchery. Picked up 8 cinnamon queens from TSC this past April, only for 3 to be roosters and 0 to be cinnamon queens. Since then, I have explored and learned of all the fun breeds. My parents raised cinnamon queens for 20 years. There's 1 old girl left, Henrietta, who's 13. I'm excited to learn more, make some cool friends. And help newcomers.

I have an old hen, too. Well, actually several old hens that enjoy the 'senior center' and are living the life.
