Hello BYC! I have visited BYC many times since 2019 to learn more about chicken care -- it's been a great resource. I currently have three hens in an Eglu and extended homemade run. Sadly, I've joined because we had a recent bobcat attack while the hens were free-ranging and I have questions about rehabilitating one injured hen.

Yes, making a sperate post is best. You can do that in the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures section.
